The ancient passage Cairn complex on the Loughcrew Mountains or Slieve na Cailleach is the most extensive neolithic sacred centre in Ireland. At the equinoxes at dawn the sun enters the central mound, Cairn T, and illuminates a wonderously carved stone in a unique light show.
